On August 14th, 2023, the Kazakhstan-China Enterprise Meeting was held in Shenzhen, hosted together by the China Association for Overseas Development of Industry (CAODI), the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Beijing, and the Kazakh Investment State Joint Stock Company (KOJSC). The meeting brought together Chinese and Kazakh elites in the political and business field, focusing on popular sectors such as general trade, logistics and transportation, discussing the difficulties, and speaking about the economic, trade and production capacity practical cooperation between China and Kazakhstan.
A total of nearly 30 organizations and enterprises, more than 40 Chinese representatives participated in the meeting, including famous corporations such as the Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics Co., Ltd., Ceva Freight Shanghai Ltd., and Hytera Communications Co. Ltd..
The Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Mr. Serik Zhumangarin, spoke highly of the meeting. He said: "Kazakhstan currently has a great demand for Chinese technology, talents, enterprise management, investment capital, etc. Kazakhstan and China currently have more than 2,000 cooperation in the field of trade, and this number still has growing potential. Building 'One Belt, One Road' together is a great initiative, the Kazakhstan side will continue to actively participate in it, and will work with the Chinese side to consolidate the Central Asian distribution corridor and build logistics centers to create more industrial added value for Kazakhstan-China trade."
According to data from China's General Administration of Customs, the trade volume between China and Kazakhstan reached nearly $31.2 billion in 2022. China has become Kazakhstan's second-largest trading partner, and as of the end of January data, Kazakhstan's raw material and energy products to China grew by 58% and chemical products by 25.2%. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan's imports of plastics and rubber from China grew by 45%, textiles by 23.4% and machinery and equipment by 21.4%.
Kazakhstan has always been an important market for HPY Technology. Kazakhstan has rich mineral resources, and the country is also paying more and more attention to the efficient and green production of mines, continuing their strong demand and high standard for high-end mining intelligent equipment.
During this event, the vice president of HPY Technology met up with the supervisor in charge of Kazakhstan's mining department. The supervisor commented that the promotion of intelligent sorting equipment in Kazakhstan is of great significance. He is very optimistic about the prospect of HPY Technology's sensor-based ore sorting equipment, and believe it will bring about positive change in the country’s mining industry when it is being put to use. The two sides deepened their discussion about cooperation and the application in the future. Kazakhstan government will actively promote the cooperation between mining enterprises and HPY Technology, so as to seek common development and foster a win-win situation.
